speedtest over CLI

Just thought I'd share this (apologies if this is already widely known). Ookla's speedtest.net has a small executable that you can download and run over CLI, with a lot of parameters you can play around with. Since you could run it from a batch file and pipe the results to a CSV file, it might be useful for logging connectivity quality over time. The output even includes a unique URL showing your results in the browser, just as if you had used the web version.
 
Are you getting accurate results with it? We have tried to script it but noticed the results we get are a lot slower than compared to running it via the website.

I haven’t had cause to use it for a while, but I didn’t spot any difference between web and CLI versions...
 
Cool. Just tried it out. I'm totally going to use this when customers are watching. It will impress and intimidate them at the same time. :D
