Source free to use images

Hi all

Looking for some high res, nice quality photos which I can use for my slider on my website.

Found some nice images...but they arent free for commercial use. Looking for close ups of hard drives, binary code, some kind of virus image etc. etc.

Not sure if I like what I got so far

If you have not already done so look up royalty free computer pictures or something similar. But be prepared to do some work. You get what you pay for. I've done that on and off over the last year or two and there is a huge amount of chaff you have sort through to get a little wheat.

Royalty Free images are so cheap to buy these days so why make it painful?

You gotta be a bit careful with those tossers at Getty Images going around threatening to sue anyone using their images. People have got caught up in this money-gouging exercise by using images from "free sites" that turned out to actually be owned.

So I'm inclined to pay a little for an image so I've got a paper trail stating I can use the images.
