Hi.
I'm looking for a website.

I occasionally come across Sony Vaio's, and want to check their history.

Most have the service tag (Thank you d7 & PCRT), but damned if I can find the web page where I type it in.

The closest page I've found is ....
https://eservice.sony.com/webrma/web/index.do

Yes, I've goggled until my fingers bled.

(Dells are so much easier for this).

Any "secret" sites you know about ?
Regards

Mark, what's the website you use for HPs?

partsurfer.hp.com Make sure you choose the correct country. You can use HP part numbers such as BV627AA or model numbers such as S5710F. Serial number usually gets you the bill of materials for that particular device, including substituted parts. It's worked for desktops, laptops, and printers. Both commercial as well as consumer devices for the most part. Can't remember if I've used it for things like Prolinea servers, etc but I would think it should work. The only models I seem to have had problems with are the club models, machine sold to places like Sam's, Costco, etc. The model number usually ended in CL
