Right now there is a HUGE solar storm going on last week 6 class X CME's the weather is expected to freeze from pole to mid US with -9F in those areas and even colder mid Canada on up.
Within 5 days temps are going to drop to -50C where i live get ready for a super cold winter.
WAIT what happened to global warming LOL.
Global warming is nothing more than a Pyramid scheme funny they changed there tune to global climate change.
This guy Piers Corbyn knows what is going on check out some of his radio shows his website http://www.weatheraction.com/ has interesting info on what is going on.

they stopped calling it global warming and changed it to climate change because of these things. We seem to be getting either dryer then record rain falls, not a happy medium any more

I tend to believe the 98% of the worlds climatologists who claim man affects climate change. Not the remaining 2% on corporate payrolls or Fox News.

Then again, the Earth is 4.6 billion years old. How many changes have occurred naturally over the millennia? If you could strip away Earth's vegetation you would see craters just like the moons. It's only a matter of time until we get hit again.

Even if man continues to treat the planet as a trash can we will never destroy the Earth. Mankind is a goner but the planet will last another 4 billion years until our Sun turns into a red giant. Then, who knows what will be left.

Blasphemy! The Earth was created in 6 days, some 5,000 years ago....or at least that's what we'll soon be teaching in the schools should this war on science continue.

Seriously though, patterns are changing, and large deviations from the norm will become more common in many places. Global weather is a complex organism, and subtle changes in climate can have dramatic impacts. Truth be told, I'm glad that I don't live in an area that is overly sensitive to such things, like a low-lying coastal area or a region that is already drought or flood prone. The fragile balance in some of these areas is bound to be upset soon, and they don't have the ability to effectively absorb the impact....which will make the challenge of maintaining the human population in these areas more difficult and expensive.

There is no 97% or 98% agreement on anything. That is a number contrived by a failed cartoonist named John Cook that runs his alarmist site skepticalscience.com (where there is no skepticism). He is not a scientist, but for some reason his contrived phoney consensus numbers are just blindly accepted by some and repeated far and wide as gospel. Senior Lead IPCC Climate Scientist Lennart Bengtsson who specializes in climate sensitivity says it best:

I believe the whole climate consensus debate is silly. There is not a single well educated scientist that question that greenhouse gases do affect climate. However, this is not the issue but rather how much and how fast. Here there is no consensus as you can see from the IPCC report where climate sensitivity varies with a factor of three! Based on observational data climate sensitivity is clearly rather small and much smaller that the majority of models. Here I intend to stick to Karl Popper in highlighting the need for proper validation. - Lennart Bengtsson

Climate change?

Please pickout the stable period of our earth history:

Just think winter has not started yet how cold it will get....its -13 here and dropping fast, i wan't my global warming back!!!.
All glaciers around the world are growing at an exponential rate what does that tell you? during an ice age water levels in areas like cailf and texas drop glaciers get larger.
Swiss alps are going to get 16.4 feet of snow yes your reading that right 16.4 FEET!.

I think it is more like 6,000 years ago, but would love to see schools teach the creation account.

Wait a sec! Where do I get one of those!? That would mean I no longer have to put bacon on my hamburger, its already there! AWESOME!

Oh and climate change... yea weather....

I'm confused... what's beefburger made from?

On a lighter side, Microsoft finally patched a 15 year old flaw in SChannel today :)

I saw one of those picows at the Fillmore once.

A farmer near me used to sell buffalo and beefalo burgers from a roadside stand in the 80's. I really didn't believe that until I came face to face with a 1,500 pounder blocking the road.

I'm sitting there in utter disbelief and this dude asks for my help to corral him. I started to laugh. This thing was as big as my car! It turned out to be the family pet.

Now the place is a golf course.
