If you really want to get an understanding of what your visitors are doing try a full tracking solution. Mouseflow.com has a free plan that does 100 recordings. I personally use a script called userTrack which is a one time purchase and they have both a wordpress version and a regular version, it doesn't seem as good as mouseflow but hey its a one time purchase. Watching what customers do on the website can reveal things to you that you don't quite expect.
