In the process of setting up a school with remote support. I'm very familiar with team-viewer however I am seeking other possibilities. There was a company before us and it was much like I have seen in the past where there is an id taped to the bottom of the screen and they asked for it and logged in that way. It would be for the pc's and printers and whatever else is out there so I am just seeking ideas from anyone with experience in this and if possible to stay away from team-viewers high prices but with similar capabilities.

Thanks In advance all

I look after a small company that has around 50 employees over 3 different locations and each computer/laptop/server is set with a specific PC name similar to CompanyName-0001, etc. The name of the PC is labelled and stuck on the tower/laptop ( not monitor ) and I use Logmein to setup the remote access side of things.

When there is a problem, I get informed along with the PC name and then allow me to remote in and resolve.

I am sure TeamViewer may have the same but unsure.

I always loved Logmein but the prices are now so outrageous. I will deffinatly look back into them though for sure.

What type of setup is it? I have a number of customers with VPN setup. Just tunnel in and use Remote Desktop or Screen Sharing to access the machines. I also use Splashtop for Business. Been very happy with that but that does not have an unattended version that I am aware of.
