Noticed he wasn't around on the boards for a while, and on Facebook...saw a post from his Facebook page from someone that seemed to be tragic. So I went to his page and scrolled down.

Tony was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer this past August, he passed away last week.

I saw Tony as a respected member here on TN, one of us "senior techs" that have been around for a long time, and quite successful with his business ventures. Will miss his experience here.

RIP Tony...

I noticed he wasn't around here much too. Such tragic news, for everyone.

RIP Tony, your help and enthusiasm, for all techs will be greatly missed by all.

Very very sad. He was one of the first techs I followed when I joined. He will be missed.
Thank you Stonecat for taking the time to check on him and letting us know.

:( I just thought about Tony earlier this week and how I hadn't seen him on here in quite some time. That's horrible news to hear. Thank you for letting us know. My condolences go out to his family.

Wow, I'm shocked and saddened.

Tony actually called me one time just to get to know me "off the boards" and shoot the breeze about our businesses. He was open and willing to share his experience (and opinions!). He was one of the guys I just assumed I'd meet someday IRL.

I noticed he wasn't around here anymore, but that's not all that unusual on TN. People come and go. It never crossed my mind that the worst might have happened.

RIP Tony. And thank you.

EDIT: For anyone reading this thread that didn't get a chance to hear some of Tony's advice directly, here's his well written "Streamlining Your Computer Business" article from a year and half or so ago. It's worth a read no matter where you are in the life of your business: http://www.technibble.com/streamlining-your-business/

I haven't been very active on the forums the last 6 months although I do visit quite often.

Always sad to see someone depart too soon. Damn cancer... [emoji20] All the best to his family and loved ones. RIP Tony.
