Restore school PC's each day.

I thought the software I was looking for was called Blackice which will allow a pc to restart back to a default state every day (in a school environment). Which others are available?

Im pretty sure there is one called deep freeze.

BlackIce, Fortress, DeepFreeze...were some popular ones.
BUT...not seen much anymore. Why? Because Microsoft started adding these features to Windows. Prior versions of Windows had a feature called SteadyState. Worked "OK". But with one of the earlier builds of Windows 10, they released a newer product called...

"Windows Shared PC Mode".
A user signs in...new profile, when exits..."poof" it's gone.

+1 Reboot Restore RX - I've used that many times. Seems as though the dentists around here love to screw up their PC's so I install RX prior to working on it just in case things go wrong. I can always restart with exactly what state the machine was in prior to working on it. Would NOT recommend it for schools however, see below.

Did this a while back for a school. Only had 3 PC's in the library so was quite easy to do and worked pretty good. Also have done this for a couple nursing homes as well. This was the video I followed back then.

Awesome! Thanks for that. I tried to read the MS docs but as usual I end up none the wiser.

I'll be using this for the local community college. Last year they had 12 PCs in a room. Maybe less this year.
