Hi,

I am a a newbie as a Technician, but I am wondering if there is an application that I can use so I can manage and organize my clients and repairs that i need to do and done.

like some kind of ticket system. does any one know an application or maybe use one?

It depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for a help desk type of software, where you can submit "tickets" for customers, pull up past tickets from a specific customer, look at statistics, log customer work, etc - I would recommend "Polar Help Desk". It is open source, and easy to use.

Now, on the other hand, I like to have a software that I can track my customers work, as well as handle the billing aspect, manage bank accounts, look at profit reports, manage taxes, and even inventory. In that case, I recommend Quickbooks Pro.

the choice is broad, do you want a server based script or a program running on your local machine.

I would like to keep a record of my clinets and what work I have done for them. it will also help me to know if the same computer already came with the same problem or not, etc.
