Looking for a tool to remove junk files from external drive such as a system drive mounted in a USB dock.

There is CleanMyDrive for IOS but what about Windows? CCleaner does not work on external drives.

You have to download the GEGeek Tech Toolkit from the site. And under Maintenance, Open Glary Utilities>Modules>Disk Cleaner. Select the drives or drives you want to scan and clean.

Or you could just download Glary Utilities separately, but GEGeek Toolkit is awesome.

EDIT: Just checked the installed Glary Utilities V4.0.0.53. Seems selecting Disks isn't available?
The version in GEGeek that I have is Glary Utilities 2.56.0.1882 (portable), which you are able to select by Disk.

OK, I will check that out. I already tried Glary (latest version) but it would not do it. I will not be at my office for ~ 3 weeks, and all I have to do this on is a hard drive dock via USB to a laptop.

JunkFile remover's cleaning consisted of emptying the Recycle Bin. I have found no Windows based cleaner for external drives.

I am now taking ownership of the files through file security which will likely take more than a day - - the very reason I wanted to delete junk files first. Changing security permissions on over a million files takes a long time. After 5 hours, the JAVA script files are still updating. I suspect there was a 100+ GB of trash on this computer because I know the user and she did not keep that much user files on the computer.

Maybe they should change the name to Recycle Bin Emptier. Sorry didn't know that is all it did. Good to know though.

You don't really say what the purpose is, butif this is a one time deal, instead of taking ownership, why not mount the drive under Linux and delete the files from there?
