I HATE the Microsoft account tie in! NOBODY knows how important it is! They set the damned thing up and a year later they're asking me, "What's a Microsoft account?"
Always fun when nobody remembers what microsoft account was used....or they know the account, but not the password and no longer have the email address or cell number MS has to attempt a password reset = SOL
That's why we use always a unique and just for that account generated mail address (her: ...@outlook.de). That doesn't touch their normal mail behaviour and all data are written down directly to the license key card. Well if the customers lose their license key card they lose money. Their money. Directly to my pocket. (And believe me, you don't want to know how many customers are unable to bring in their keys for their programs, even if you tattooed them "keep your serials save" into their forehead in mirror writing.)
