Does anybody know of a program that will allow me to start recording a computer screen as soon as it boots up? I want to make a video of a computer booting up before and after a tune-up.
Yes, you would have to use some sort of virtual PC since you can't record while the PC is going through lets say POST.
If you have a (for dell server not sure for PC's) DRAC it would allow you to see a PC booting up anything you would see on the sceen you would see if you connet to the DRAC. The DRAC is an expensive network card that it has it OWN IP you connect to it and it connects to the PC it is install in. HMMM I wonder if there is something like that for a PC. The DRACs are for servers.
Thanks. I'm actually looking to record just after windows logs in though, but still haven't found anything. I think kdyer's suggestion is great, but in this case I'm benchmarking before and after a hard drive replacement so that won't really work.
