Recommendations:(Free preferably) application mover software?

Landlord needs a favor from his tenant (me).

Wants to move a program from laptop (xp) to desktop machine (windows 2000). It is compatible on both OS's.

Anyone know of a Free program... or a non-free version?

This is shareware and most popular its only $15 for full version or 10 moves for free:

But Application Mover "Important Notes" says...

Do not use the program to move programs from one computer to another. It is not designed for this.

Laplink PCMover moves programs, files and settings to a new PC, but it's not free.
