Recommend good USB to IDE/SATA adapter

I've gone through 2 Vantec USB to IDE/SATA adapters and 2 Bytecc Sata - USB stations

I will no longer recommend these brands/models. Can anyone recommend me replacement brand/models for these that you've been using heavily for at least a year?

Funny I have 3 Vantec IDE to USB for laptop drives and they work great only complaint would be the 2 with a power switch the switch is hard to flip with out nails. Mine are enclosures not an adapter but just found it odd also have some very quiet 60mm Vantec fans in my media center.

You might want to give this Sunbeam model a try. I have not had any issues with it.

I have a couple Sarotech enclosures that have been working nonstop for years - I just keep the cases open and swap out drives as needed - have had nothing but problems with the multi-pronged adapter types though

Has anyone used the IDE to SATA adapters? I was thinking of setting up a station with several SATA cables and those adapters should make the drives hot swappable. I was hoping they're faster than USB 2.0.
