Rant!!! CAR APPS-REALLY!!

Dear God, do we really need to have more **** to distract an already can`t pay attention to drive now world!! first it was no whiper blades, then, crappy roads, bigger motors, sh11y tires, reading a map,reading a book, eating food, putting on make-up

Then came the biggest distraction, cell phones and text messaging, watching dvd`s. NOW! they are gonna let people interact with their cars through apps. We really need cars that drive uuuuummmmmm without driver interaction, yayah
, yea thats it.

I'm willing to bet that these will not be used while driving. There are even several in-car GPS units that can't be set while the car is in motion.

Cant see it ever taking off, they will probably be outlawed for use 'in car' before they hit the streets!

On a lighter note, in the second picture down from that article, im glad sloth from The Goonies is looking well after his slight corrective surgery.

ill be happy when automatic braking becomes standard. Ideally it would have an override for those situations when you need it but seems like it would be fairly easy to implement such technology

Yeah, but like every other person who has a dvd in their car, they just ground the brake allowing them to do it while moving.

Though I doubt this idea will take off.
