dimensions 22 inches long by 17 inches wide

Note: The image is blurry only because I re-sized it from the original but the original is completely visible. The largest letters are at font 72 the ones stating the winners are at 42 and the smallest font is at 20. I would have placed the original size but just the image of the kindle took up my whole screen.

I need input on what could make it better so far its way to plain and I got no ideas. But then again simplicity could be my friend.

I would start by adding some kind of background but bebcareful whendoing so. Something subtle thats not gonna block the text. You could use your logo and have the transparency knocked way up. Any background is gonna fill that white space though.

Emphasise certain parts of your text such as the "win a kindle". You dont have to stick with black you can change the colour. There are many free fantastic fonts for you to play with. You could use photoshop to create some of your text and add effects to it.

I know it sounds daft (and i dont know if this will work this time) sometimes i shrink the imageslighty and then put it on a slight angle. It doesnt work everytime but certainly has for me with certain images.

Hope this helps. Ill try to think of more

From the stand point of an attendee, my deciding factor would be how you are going to announce the winner. I've seen this at CES and such before, and if it was something I thought I'd have to return for or be at certain time, I wouldn't even bother to look at anything else. So IMO I'd call a little more attention to the fact that you are announcing on your website.

I like that the iPad has that amount of real estate on the poster, it will be what initially attracts eyes.
