Anyone here play or used to play Quake III Arena? I just loaded up QuakeLive and have been practicing. Seems it's like riding a bike, I got 6 frags and 2 "Excellent" (2 frags in 2 seconds!) frags. I'm looking to see if anyone wants to join me for play before I dive into the land of the open internet and get my butt smoked by a 13 year old. lol

Oh Man, that brings back some memories..... Playing against my boss at work in the afternoon. Yelling obcenities across the office and all the other managers wondering what was going on......

I used to play Q3 Rail only all the time, now I mostly play Urban Terror.
I tried that Quake Live and got my ass handed to me. I swear people are cheating.

Humiliation

It was a great game. "HUMILIATION" and even "HOLY ****" in such a deep voice (during capture the flag). Lemme tell you something. Put a rail-gun in my hands, and it's gonna be a bad day for you. Sure, the rate-of fire is slow... But, you can shoot THROUGH people, it had high damage, and was very accurate. So unless there is a BFG (Big Fragging Gun) laying around I'm going for the rail-gun. Good times.

I'm down for some CTF or FFA, CTF is my favorite though (I'm great on offense). I'll pay to upgrade too to get my own arena.

Gauntlet usually gets me that one. I get it often lol. Since 16 is in Aussie, scheduling a game might be tough, but we can do it. Bryan, let me know if you want to practice, I'm home usually around 7:00 at night til 9:00 ish, maybe longer if we are in a good game. I added you, I'm callthatgirl there.
