Can anyone recommend two or three choices for a printer that works well with iOS? A client of mine would like one for their home, but I really would like the feedback from my peers as to what has or hasnt worked for them in similar cases.

For this client, inkjet will probably work. Also, I am interested in what others have sold. I get PCmag and can look at them, but Im interested in first hand knowledge

I've found the HP ePrint/AirPrint models to be the easiest to setup.

Another option to use for non-AirPrint compatible printers is an app called handyprint. Like others it needs to be running on a machine which acts as a server. The downside is it's OS X only. But works perfectly. Great to be able to print to my HP LJ 4250dn so I do not have to use any colored ink.

I am a big fan of the new HP 8610, 8620 and 8630 Multifunction Inkjets.

Unfortunately you can't make any money on the printers as staples has been offering up to 50% off retail on these over the past month. Also the Hp Instant Ink program www.hpinstantink.com managed print services program is unbeatable for cost per page.

Starting at $2.99 per month for 50 pages per month or $4.99 for 100 or $9.99 for 300. Hp sends you ink automatically for free with this subscription service.

They also do have a higher end program for some of the x576 series mfc's as well that start at $19.99 for 400 prints and up to their $59.99 for 2000 prints.

HP OfficeJet 8600 is a good buy for an inkjet for a Mac device. Buy the XL cartridges though, it seems like printing 1 page with the regular ones empties the darn things, but the with the XLs, I keep forgetting when the last time I bought ink was.
