This is my first holiday season in business, so I wasn't sure what to expect as far as business goes. I half expected it to be pretty dead, due to people being low on cash after Christmas. I am quite surprised, however, as things have been pretty busy. In fact, this has been one of the busiest times I have had. The phone has been ringing fairly steady, and the work bench is full of machines with more on the shelf.

These aren't the transfer jobs I had expected to get, either. Just routine repairs and cleanings. Anyone else experiencing a swarm of business this week?

I actually have an appointment today for one of these. I haven't seen it yet, but is there anything special, or just the typical removal for this one?
Nothing special really just like removing security tool. Except on one of them every time you killed the process the computer shutdown. Easy enough fix though is just go straight to safe mode and remove it from startup.

BUSY week so far, checked in 12 computers yesterday, 8 so far today, and on-site service calls almost non-stop!

Im happy.

Busy here too, Va

It's been busy here too. Six calls yesterday, and eight calls today... guess everyone was putting it off until after Christmas.

I have to say I am very surprised at the business that is coming in.

1. The holidays
2. I am a new business

I have had probably 20 calls in the last 2 days, and converted 12 in to appointments. Yea it's going to be a busy week, but i will take it. :) All but 2 of these came from Google, either Adwords or a search, I am still learning how to narrow this down. The other 2 were referrals from work I did last week before Christmas.

I hope everyone has a prosperous New Year. I know I look forward to it.

December is going to go down as the best month of business for my company since incorporation in Feb 2010. That's all I'm going to say.

December has been surprisingly busy with new machine purchases, cleanups, repairs, and even a video surveillance quote/install I snagged.

Let's just hope the momentum continues into 2011!

December was horrible up until the holiday...worst month of the year. Now this week has been pretty good so far, I hope things get crazy today and tomorrow, so we can salvage what we can.

For us, November was just unreal. Our best month ever, almost 50% more than the previous 'best month', which happened to be October lol. I think what's killed our December has been the weather. Snowstorm after snowstorm, followed by a blizzard, record colds, then a holiday, just added up to people putting things off til a more convenient time. This week, the snow is melting, the sun is out and Christmas is over...so things should get back to normal.
