Possible Logo Design - will have one alteration not yet visible

It's not bad, but I wouldn't of paid more than 30 bucks for it. Used a stock of a Robot, through some text and a gradient on.

Tell them to start over and to put some effort into it.

well here are the next revisions. I purposefully had her do one in greyscale for black and white ads.

Not bad but I suppose you're restricted to use the robot because of your name. My only concern is that logo will need to be printed in colour and mono and at low res for use in such media as newspapers. I had to change my colours to more stronger ones because of the way they looked in a newspaper ad.

By the way how did the name come about? The logo is 100 times better than your current one.

I like the cowboy hat. It is a nice touch and suits you. Not sure about the word "Technological" though. It sounds a bit off to me. How about "Technology" instead. It will shorten the catch phrase a bit as well.

Nice.

I definitely like the revisions better than the original. The cowboy hat is a nice touch :)

I would do something like this to eliminate some of the white space. (a bit rough but you get the idea)

Just a suggestion :)

BTW, say Hi to Jizelle for me :D

Nice one. The right and left hand block alignment is much better on the eye

One thing i noticed is there is a shadow under the robot, but nothing else. I would just have them erase that. Other than that, i think it fits the name pretty well. If you have a website, maybe the robot could be featured thru out it? Pointing at sales, Pondering things, etc.

Well Martyn - the name came about because of my father. One day when I first started doing a little side work, he was kidding around and called me Roborob consequently it stuck.

Charles - I like the idea of using the robot throughout but I have to find out where she got the robot first.

The robot is cute but I don't see what it has to do with computers.
The name is cute but doesn't make me think of computers.
The logo has too many letters in it and it is running together and difficult to read.
The way it looks is that your slogan is part of your logo.

What ever else you do you might consider getting a logo that can be one color plus the black and white or grey scale. Crimson or Blue both look great and professional with grey scale. You can do much with this to look rich and still only pay the one color up charge.

There are black and white charges which are super cheap and then one color adds just a few bucks but when you have a 2nd color above black/grey scale and white then the prices might as well be four color off set printing or the whole color spectrum.
