Hi everyone.

A few weeks back I posted asking for your comments on a screenshot of what I had done on my new site design. Only a few replied but those that did seemed to like it.

I have finally completed the design work and got it uploaded so please give your opinions. Website Link.

I am aware I still need to work on the SEO but I haven't a clue where to start with that so any help on that would be appreciated too.

Thanks in advance

One thing that sticks out to me is the "banner" looks like it has some jaggedness to it, also some of the letters such as the R's. Is this meant to be or was the banner stretched to fill space? Other than that I like it.

Thank you both for your comments, glad you think it's ok.

The logo was an issue for me, someone gave me the idea and I did the best i could (really no good with art or programs like photoshop) but I couldn't make the curves nice and clean so if anyone can help me on that it would be appreciated. The font I used for the text seems to have come out a little funny but it is only visible on the grey R's (I may have stretched it at some point but i can't actually remember), I might have to look into that one as it doesn't look that professional. Thank you for pointing that out to me.

Nice. One thing that I would change would be to make the 'Prices From' buttons the same as far as position. The one to the immediate left is a bit higher than the others, which caught my attention right away.

I agree with what everyone else has said and I would add you should ditch the stock images. This can be difficult if you don't have a decent camera and adequate photo editing skills but it looks much more professional than pulling some random pic off the internet.

Stock images are a pet peeve of mine but if nothing else I would use something other than a HP Firebird for Computer Repairs. A somewhat exotic machine like that doesn't really illustrate computer repair to me. Would be like your local mechanic having a picture of a Porsche on his business card (unless he specializes in Porsches, of course).

The phone number in the banner could also use some spaces to make it more readable.

This may be a location thing but the Facebook page link doesn't work for me (here in the US).

That's what I noticed so far, but otherwise I like the nice, clean layout.

Thank you to everyone that commented on the "jaggedness" of the banner. I think I have sorted this out so if everyone would like to take a look now to see what you think it would be appreciated.

I will work on the images James_S, I think I have managed to get hold of a good quality camera so I should be able to include some "proper" images. I have spaced out the phones numbers as suggested so I hope this is OK too. The Facebook link not working has not happened to me, if others could try this and let me know who it works for and who it doesn't work for so we can work out if it is anything to do with location.

Other than this I have had no criticism so I am pleased with my efforts and everyone's feedback.

You definitely have a a bad link to your facebook page. It just dumps me to facebook.com/home.php

Create a facebook username in the options in Basic Information.
You will have an easier link to facebook.com/username

Thank you jrl2222 for confirming that for me, I have created a username now and used that instead. I didn't realise pages had usernames too.

3rd party ads are now gone Paul, these were there to fill some blank spaces and generate a little income but I have to agree with you on not having them on site.

I'm sure I commented on this before, anyway:

- the nav needs to stand out more, not so grey and bigger text
- phone numbers could do with being bigger
- it all seems a little bit grey/dull

apart from that it looks good :)
