I just wanted to let people know that I've recently bought PCRT and am already finding it invalualble in the shop. I got a great discount via ACRBO too. Luke from PCRT has been very responsive to my questions both before and after I purchased, and I can't recommend him highly enough!

Good work Luke and thanks!

I too can commend his responsiveness. I'm planning on purchasing it shortly, trying to get my ducks in order and have creditcard acceptance available at the same time. He's went above and beyond at answering all of my questions, and I'm sold on the product already :)

Heads up for those that may not know but Luke as just finished an upgrade and added:

Ability to Email Customer Repair Reports and Receipts.

Basic User Activity Reports

New Permissions system that allows you to restrict access to the following features:

Viewing of Monthy, Quarterly, and Yearly Reports Management Of Scans, Installs, Actions, and Notes.
Management of Quicklabor
Management of Inventory
Ability to Permanently Delete Receipts
Viewing of User Activity Reports.

Very very nice update.

I joined ACRBO about 5 minutes after I paid for PC Repair Tracker, but didn't have any luck getting any discount out of luke :p

The software looks ok so far. Will be trialling it over the next few days..

New release out today....Great additions. Two of them I like most are below

The new release adds the following features/changes:

Feature - Customer Source tracking feature. Allows you to track where your jobs come from. Includes management in the settings interface, and a report.

Feature - Simple function to generate text list of all email addresses in the system.

Hey I have a question for those of you using PCRT. Does anyone else charge a diagnostic fee up front and then charge for the rest of the work on pickup? We charge a flat diag fee that DOES NOT go towards the repair. I am having trouble finding a way to provide a receipt for the diagnostic in PCRT without closing out the ticket, then reopening it to add other charges later on.

Create a quick labour for your diagnostic - add it to the ticket, then click add items to current cart - this will allow you to print a receipt for just that item without closing the ticket.
