PC Repair Tracker and laminate printer?

I know not of laminate printers but my Dymo 450 thermal printer prints perfect labels in PCRT.
I had to use one of the templates someone posted on the PCRT forums and modify it for my own use.

Let me know if you need me to send a copy. My labels are pretty small. Not sure of the size off the top of my head, I can check later and let you know.

Anyone know of a laminate printer that will work with PCRT? I bought a dymo 450, of which does not do it.

The 450 definately works, make sure you have the latest version of the Dymo label writer software installed. Can be downloaded from here:

http://global.dymo.com/ieIE/Software/LabelWriter_450.html

Older versions/discs do not always have the most up to date version of the browser plugins need to allow the Dymo Javascript library interact.

I am looking for a laminate printer. I own the 450 of which works well, but I am looking for something to print and stick to the bottom side of computers. Something like the windows COA sticker but with my bar code and related info.

Laminate for longevity?
Seems like additional expense for not much usefulness.
I put ours inside the battery compartment on laptops, much like Dell used to do with their paper COAs.

Many of my customers are repeat customers. I am worried the 450 will dade if wet or after a year or so.

I have a p-touch PT-1880 Labeler, and was hoping to get something like it that will work with PCRT

I just purchased the dymo 450 duo last night and I am waiting for it to arrive. I am going to be looking at PC Repair Tracker and MHelpDesk. The DUO will allow you to print to paper and vinyl labels. I figured I would try and see what results I get with these two types of labels. Ill post my results once it arrives. Take care
