Password protect files on Flash drive

I have a couple of sensitive files on my flash drive that I'd rather not be easy to access. The rest of the drive is a bunch of applications and such that I would rather have easy access to. Does anyone know of a utility that will allow it to protect certain but not all files on a flash drive?

Are you likely to want to view these sensitive files on other machines?

You could use either a zip/rar file to password protect the files or better yet use a program called TrueCrypt which creates an encrypted container file only accessable with the password. You can make the container file whatever size you like and you can set it to automount whenever you plug the drive in.

Yeah I would agree, TrueCrypt is the way to go, its what I use. As for the password protected zip files, they are just too easy to crack. For the really paranoid you can make an encrypted container inside an encrypted container with truecrypt. Then put your password protected zip files inside that.

dammit you caught me! Nah its just an excel sheet of addresses and such. If I ever lost my drive I really wouldn't someone getting them. Thanks again guys!

For the really paranoid you can make an encrypted container inside an encrypted container with truecrypt. Then put your password protected zip files inside that.

trucrypt is the way to go although if you want to be sneaky then you could encode the files into other files like a word file hidden in a picture or a music file.

but thats a big pain in the ass,
