honestly it wasnt very hard. I was super prepared. The practice tests from Jason Doin and Totsim were harder. I had also taken a college course in the fall. I found Net+ test and PBQ way harder. I guess the hardest part was making sure to pick the best answer and really read the question, since the wording is often thrown in to trick you. And not second-guessing. I found that when I did that on practice tests, I was almost always wrong, and my first answer was right.

There is a ton of research, over the course of decades, that clearly indicates this is almost always the case. First instincts tend to be the correct ones, particularly where you're well prepared/informed before needing to make them.
It's interesting that Gemini's response to the prompt [Research indicating that first choices are more accurate than second guesses] indicates that rethinking a choice is actually often helpful where you know little about a topic, and frequently damaging where you have expertise.

It is fairely broad but very few questions about mantraps and bollards. Now the study material had a ton of those scenarios.

This made me think of the Monty Hall problem - where preparation is irrelevant, switching is statistically better. Where preparation is important, switching is statistically worse! Opposing corollary or antithetical something, can't quite put my finger on the right phrase.
