Hi,
Not a client issue but a family member one. I am trying to acquire the recovery CD for the Packard Bell iMedia A2620UK which has Windows 7 on.
My brother decided that the prompt to create a recovery CD was not an important one, so continued to tinker with it regardless. He then decided to dual boot with Linux Mint and, shortly after, decided that he no longer liked Linux Mint so removed it. However, when the PC turns on it still has the GRUB booter that trys to start linux sending into an endless loop of starting, not being able to load and then restarting.
I believe it's just a case of just fixing the MBR but I obviously can't do this as I have no way of accessing the command prompt, so the CD is required to boot from and resolve the issue.
Kind Regards,
tbo
