Ouch!

2 more pins bent at 90 degrees that didn't take a picture of, they are the ones that had me the most nervous
Northridgefix repairs these and it's not as hard as one would expect (if your micro-soldering skills are up to snuff).
It is ridiculous how easy he made that look.

I've bent them all back again, the ones bent at 90 degrees now have a small kink in them, but the CPU fits in an AM4 socket again.
haven't live tested it.

I find it funny how people still hate the pins on the CPU vs the motherboard yet I have dropped more things on a mother board than I have dropped CPUs and when this first began you had the argument of MB being cheaper to replace than CPU but today that is not true for higher end systems. So now I would much rather risk the CPU than the MB given the cost and my personal experience with which component is more likely to be damaged by my hands.

I will add while I have never had a pin bent by more than probably 30 degrees my experience straightening any pins has not been the nightmare I hear about with so far 100% success rate in a perfectly function CPU that operates within spec.

@Markverhyden

It sounds like you got jeweler's pliers, which routinely have smooth faces so as not to mar the work. I used to make jewelry, so have those along with conventional ones with the cross-hatched grip surfaces.

We're in hemostat territory here. I keep straight and hooked from tiny up to 24" and most sizes in between. One of my more valuable tools.
