Have a client that I need to monitor just two workstations for uptime are they on and pingable. Third party sites like pingdom etc wont work since they are inside the firewall and not reachable from outside services. So looking for application I could load on another workstation there that runs as a service that will let me monitor these two workstation for uptime and email me anytime it gets powered off. Freeware would be ideal but dont mind paying for app reasonably priced as well. Any suggestions?
