Online Troubleshooter Tool

I actually haven't decided, really.

As a side note I created a varient of this that was completely and dynamically created so it could be updated without database access. It was a troubleshooter for a small cable company for the new techs to step-by-step troubleshoot video issues and generate notes for their ticketing system. Also included logins, access levels, lookup feature and button to copy to the clipboard for pasting into the ticket.

Honestly, I like the idea of using some variant of this internally to keep everyone doing things similarly... I don't want to fall into the "big box" problem, just want all techs doing things the same way...

I just looked at "slow computer" and found the only solution to be toolbars, which is almost last on the list for us when it comes to a proper diagnosis.

I think if you added more options, there would be more value to someone callling in. Things such as...

1.) test your internet speed
2.) download our virus checker yourself and if you are infected, we can help
3.) has your computer been tuned up lately? If not...
4.) Is just your internet slow, here is how to reset your internet.

I think you know where I am going with this. These are easy things people can do anyway via the internet searches, do you really want to make money on telling people all they had to do was flush their internet or offer a full tune up and give them value?

I'm not sure how your reply got buried on my subscribed list, but I will be revising the online troubleshooter with a full, online editable one I took more time on once I get some time. It will include quick fixes like that.
