I have been making notes in OneNote Online. These were in my personal Business OneDrive account. I have now decided I want to move these to Sharepoint to share with others in the company.
However they don't appear to be true full OneNote files. They are internet shourcuts like what Google Sheets or Docs does. Anyone have an easy idea of how to move them?

Copy 'em up to a Teams docu library and pin it to the tab under the Team/Channel you want.
Doesn't that just create a shortcut that points back to the shortcut/link in my personal business onedrive? In otherwords if I do this and then delete the shortcut in my personal business onedrive folder won't the link not work anymore?

From the web interface go to file > info and choose open in desktop interface. From the desktop app you can export it to a .one or whatever file type you choose.

If you create it in OneNote Online from the web interface it's not a .ONE file. You see it just shows up as an internet shortcut and is only 1kb. View attachment 13821
Probably...but I mentioned running OneNote in Teams, I wouldn't do the web version. So when you do that, it does indeed put a .ONE file right in the Files library of that channel/Team/ . I've also migrated a client from on prem..where they had the .ONE file on a server, to....Teams...by copying it there, and then adding the OneNote apps and pointing it to the .ONE file.

OneNote is much like Word or Excel...just have to point it to its file(s). And you can move those files like if you migrate a user to a new computer, or move someones Quickbooks to a new computer...take the data file, put it, and point the app to it.
