Hi All,
I have an install to do next week for a customer, part of this is to install the 7 new machines with Office 2013 Home and Business.
They have a PKC for each machine so i'm not trying to install 1 key on 7 PCs!
The question is, Do I have to create a Microsoft account for each machine to get this rubbish installed?
I'm dowloading the image file now so at least I dont have to download it 7 times, but this whole "Product key is attached to account" is annoying!
Any ideas?

Thanks
Dan

You can attached multiple keys to an account yes

I still think its a stupid way of licensing. Much prefer the 2010 you have the code way!

All the office 2013 installs I've done you get an option to use a product key instead if signing into an account.
Do you not see that option?

I didn't see that on the 25 I did at one site last week. Would have been nice. I just added all 25 to my account... Kinda dumb, I thought, but took no time at all. As cumbersome as it was, the office 2013 install is faster than 2010, and it allows you to start working in Office before it even finishes.

One thing I noticed is as far as I can tell I cannot give a name to the installs, nor does it show me an install date on my microsoft account. I added another to it and the only way I can see to tell them apart is that it is ordered newest first.

I see the option, so I click it and it wants me to tie the key to the account, wont go any further without adding to an account.
Not a huge pain in the arse but it adds complications and needless steps.
