Hey all,
I've got an odd problem with Outlook 2000. I clean my inbox by moving emails I want to save to the a specified folder and delete the other ones. Then I've gone in in the deleted items folder and permanently deleted those files.
Well its like this: all this works undoes itself when I open Outlook again. Including the whole "deleted items" folder. Everything I have tried to delete since this problem started keeps coming back. Like there's a ghost in my computer undeleting and moving my emails back where they left.
I tried to search it out on google but to no avail. I did learn about a repair tool that Outlook has but that didn't work either.
Anybody got any clue what is going on, or suggestions about using keywords to search this out to find the solution?

The issue sounds like when you are deleting emails in outlook it is only performing this action locally. Then when you restart outlook it will resync with the server and get the original settings.

You should make sure when you move/delete emails in outlook that it updates on the server side.
