Nvidia pricing makes no sense for consumers

yea I would upgrade to 1080ti if I could even afford that. I am not a hardcore gamer as I used to be, so spending so much on a card just seems insane.

Yeah I know what you mean. I have a GTX 970 and I just can't justify the expense to upgrade even to a 1080 TI. I've got the cash, but why waste it when my 970 does everything I need it to? So my games can look a little bit better and I can get 100fps instead of 60? I don't care enough. Frankly I'd be fine if games kept the same graphics quality as in the 1990's. I'd rather have a GOOD game that's actually FUN to play that looks like crap than a fancy looking, crappy, boring game.
