Saw this today on Woody's forums. (Related to Windows networking and the constant problem of getting machines to "see" one another on the network!)
One thoughtful poster presented a nice troubleshooting guide I will hopefully remember to use in the future!

[For my own networks I went completely old school... fixed IP addresses, hosts file on each machine, dedicated user id & password on each machine for use in sharing. It's more work to configure but it's bulletproof for small, static environments!]
