I don't like it bud..
Sorry, I see that you have spent a lot of time on this, but this is a disaster..
If you are doing On-Site service only.. then your first page needs to convey that everywhere. I should see a logo with a car/truck/van in it. The Picture with the woman and child is nice, but out of place. You need to showcase YOUR business, computers, cars with computers, computer guy fixes stuff picture... then you need to distinguish the fact that you do not do in-shop service, and why that is a good thing. First Page.
Regarding the left "menu", I was at least expecting that if I clicked on "Home, Business, or virus removal" that I would get the same thing no matter which suburb because they are all named the same... instead there are different "useful" articles on how to fix your own computer at home. Even worse, each suburb has a different article. Am I to believe that "Brownsburg" is the only place that needs "Drive imaging" or that only in "Mooresville" "A home network makes life easier"? The point of having the customer come to your site is so that you will have the opportunity to sell your services, not to have the customer do it themselves. These articles are really great and certainly deserve to have their own Blog section on your site. That will help with your SEO as well.
Also, why the history lesson? Why have a person living in Danville click on "Danville" (their area), and read a history lesson about Danville? They live there, and probably know about it already. Their computer isn't working right and they want it fixed right now. They are not going to take the time to read about local history... on their broken computer. They want solutions!
If I were you I would take the right side "list of services" and swap them to the left. There's your menu! Give them a page that pertains directly with their problem with related pictures. Sell them on you!
I would also advise that the navigation menu should never disappear. However, when you get to one of your sections, no menu.. back button. Bad.
Also, as eHousecalls.ca told me once,
Consider every link on your page that goes away from your site to be an opportunity to lose a customer's attention.
If they, for example, follow that carmelchamber.com link ... they might get distracted and not come back.
The "We come to you" is a good selling point; I barely saw it over on the right top side.
Is in-shop service available? I guess not, I can't find an answer.
Many of MY customers are private and would rather drop off their computer than have some guy on the internet come into their house and fix it for (x) hours, or they just don't have the time to "watch" their house because you are there. Ultimately, THE OPTION is for the customer, you will lose a certain clientele.
I found with my business, only having In-home service simply costs me too much time, therefor, money. Example: If I can fix 4 computers simultaneously in 4 hours @ $100 a piece at the shop = $100 hour... I can only fix one computer at a time while performing in-home service = $25 hour.
Sincerely,
