New Spybot

Has anyone tried the new and improved Spybot?

They now have a paid LiveCD as well as a new interface on their personal/free scanner. I'm excited to see some changes as I've always liked their product but didn't like the overhead in terms of user input needed to keep it running.

Thoughts?

EDIT: They've added some technician specific tools. Their licensing has changed a bit but I haven't checked the prices yet.

Haven't used SB in a few months...but it always did a great job.

Interested in hearing other techs views on the new version aswell.

Haven't used it in years. Didn't do any better and sometimes worse then Malwarebytes or SuperAntispyware.

I haven't used this in years either. Maybe it's time to take another look and give it a go again.

The only reason i stopped using Spybot was that it hadn't been updated in forever. think it spent 2 years as 1.62... that and they turned on that stupid Tea Timer thing that no user could possibly understand if their life depended on it.

So now that its a new version, may have to check it out again! Thanks!

I think the guy blew it by stopping production on the old one but then taking forever for the new version.

Last year I installed the new beta one but it seemed so loaded with stuff that is was annoying to use so I uninstalled it.

The old spybot doesn't seem to find much anymore. It still seems to help on wrong windows settings but other tools that are out there do that now too.
