New managed services website. Please criticise!

i hope you bought the rights to use that picture with the man sleeping on the grass because dreamhost.com has the exact same one on the front of their site.

Whats with the 100% Irish? Does that make you more qualified? Really? I'm in US and here that would probably be viewed as discriminatory because political correctness here is in hyperdrive.

Edit: On second thought I guess that would be ok. Its like being in US and saying 100% American. But is that parts and personel?

The image is from shutterstock but I have seen it on other sites.

With regards to the 100% Irish, well we are an Irish company with Irish people working here and we are also in Ireland. I think it's a good point to make. We don't outsource to India if you know what I mean.

Thanks for looking :)

Nice website.

I can understand the 100% irish thing. I know there is a huge cultural difference between here and over the pond, especially in regards to ethnicity...so I cant really comment on if its a good thing or a bad thing.

Nice set up tho.

OK guys, so you don't know the Irish, and neither have you lived and worked in Ireland.
I have done both.
100% Irish is actualy considered like a guarantied quality.
I am not an Irish neither British, but during my many years lived in Ireland I have come to appreciate the "100% Irish" as a standard of noncompromized, high quality of whatever that might be you are buying.

Few countries left in the western civilized world still have that kind of "take my word for it" attitude.
Why is it lost, because they have betrayed the trust.
That trust runs strong in Ireland (I am talking about the Republic Of Ireland, or Eire). 100% Éireannach!!! Thumbs up.

The image copyright.
When you purchase a hosting space, you have hundreds of photos to choose from. Those photos are copyrighted by the host provider and gives you the right to use them as long as the website is hosted by them....
Surprised ?

And just another side story about 100% whatever nation....
The guys in UK, how many times have you seen in Tesco or ASDA products labeled:
"100% British beef"
"British Milk" .... I thaught milk comes from the cows... LMAO

Ok, I've changed 100% Irish to 100% Irish owned. Seems to fit a bit better. We have a lot of IT firms here that just outsource to other countries, even the big players like Dell and Eircom are doing it. I just wanted to give people the feeling that they are dealing with Irish people in Ireland.

I'm in the USA too. Struck me kind of the same way, like saying 100% white, kinda disturbing, maybe just use irish logos or symbols to get the message across, you wouldn't want to eliminate those "other" people (I'm 1/2 Irish LOL)

In the header, "Our network management team are listening" should read "is listening." Also, I find the gray vertical banner on each page way too large. Otherwise, very information-packed site (perhaps to a fault). I think I'd omit the Irish thing altogether, as it raises more questions/concerns than it's worth. If you want to emphasis the fact that all support services are privided domestically, why not just say that somewhere. They aren't going to deduce it form the "100% Irish Owned".

Cheers, and good on ya. :)

Personally, I liked the site. The graphics were nice, even if some of them are stock photos. The logo is a bit blurry, but I didn't know if that was your intention. Or perhaps it is from my own lack of sleep, another 20+ hour day...

As with any website it could use a little tweaking, so could mine and just about every site I've ever seen... but I find it nice so far. I will admit that I did not read all the content. My mind can only process so much information right now.

I don't see why people are fussing over 100% Irish.. I don't know how many times I've seen "Made in America" promoted as a marketing tool. Although, I must admit it has been many many years since I have seen this type of ad, but surely if some of you think back you will remember.

The portion in your graphic that says "Our network management team are..." would probably read better as "Our network management teams are..." or "Our network management team members are..."

And another 100 other websites. technologymarketingtoolkit.com is where the content comes from and is paid for. Must clean up some of the images alright. Still a fair bit of tweaking to do. I'm also going to reduce the size of the side images too.

Personally, I like the 100% Irish thing. It's the same as 100% American or something here. I think it would be better if it read Scottish, though.:p
