New logo... be easy.

Cute but the first thing I thought of was how well it would/wouldn't translate to a b/w print ad.

The T_Rex part kind of 'over-blends'. I know it's supposed to be a T but my brain keeps seeing a backwards J.

Actually, I like it. Here are my suggestions:

1. Make the gray color a little darker, it is difficult to read right now.
2. Make the dinosaur a little more technology based. I see the rivets(?) and the bracket(?) around its eye, but if you are trying to make a robotic dinosaur, it needs more.
3. The dino also needs to be a bit more mean/serious looking. Right now it looks a bit like Barney on holiday.

Overall, though, I like your concept and design.

1.) It's difficult to read on a white background. It's never going to be on a white ground
2.) He also has a segmented tail, small contraption type thing on his head, and a squared jaw. I wanted the effect to be somewhat subtle but still noticeable. However, I do know what your trying to say.
3.) Lmao, many of the other drafts were mean\serious looking. Many people didn't like it.. customers (i asked a few), technibblers, and friends alike. So i made him friendlier lol

I love the concept, I would suggest you give the designers at 48hour logo a chance to refine your effort. I was thinking maybe the T-rex body and a computer monitor for a head and just T-rex Computers as your company name.

This.

With all the time and effort you have spent so far, there's no way it wouldn't have been efficient to have a design contest on 48hrs.

Good luck embroidering it or converting it to vinyl.

You really should think about this. You get customers from having a recognized presence in the area, and you get that by branding yourself.

Your logo just made that really expensive.

No more expensive then any other 3 color logo

Since I've seen the previous versions, I really like this one. I wouldn't be concerned about embroidery. My full logo doesn't work well with embroidery and other "height-sensitive" items (like pens), so we made a text only version.

For your embroidery sample I would drop the dino and tag line and just make the "High Tech Rex" text bigger. You want it so people don't have to squint to see what's on your shirt and I think currently they would have to.

Good improvements!

1. You should always plan for your logo to work on both white and black or have a version for both white and black backgrounds. You will eventually need both. I primarily use my logo with a black background, but I use white quite often in advertising and invoices.

2. I think it looks great personally.

3. Friendlier is better. Viruses can look mean.

Nice job on the embroidering, however, your probably better off getting it screen printed. We have done this for our shirts and it looks way better. As for vinyl, as long as you find a competent graphics and sign artist, you will be fine. Trust me, I see some crazy stuff and your logo, while being very good, is not even as intricate and many that I have seen.

My problem, and I am sure many of you deal with the same issue, is that everyone in my town that does t-shirts and signs are all redneck half-tards that have no clue what they are doing and they most definitely should not be behind a computer. I literally had to do everything myself except the actual printing.

I like it, looks really nice. The only thing I would change is to redo the letter T as it looks to much like a J.

I really like this. Much better than the previous one. Like others have suggested, I would modify the T_Rex part as it looks like a J. Perhaps disconnect that line from the T and the R and move it up a little so it looks like T-Rex instead of T_Rex.

Something like this:

rex i have been following your logo concept. Personally i love the idea and the shirt is the clencher. that will really pop on a black polo! Good for you for sticking with it. I really like your last logo design too that you had posted do you mind if i ask why you scraped it?

I scraped it because it didn't look right on business cards and it was too mean. It also seems like I've been getting ALOT more calls since i changed to this logo.. Go figure lol :D
