New Business card, your opinions appreciated.

So I'm almost out of business cards. I had my last card designed by one of my customers, and was never very happy with it. Here's the design I'm thinking of using for my new card:

Your new design is very good, it stands out and good use of colours, the only thing i would change is the writing at the bottom, do that in black as well.

Thanks, I had to change the font color though, it was too hard to read. See the first post for the update.

I should have made a poll so that I could decide between the two different designs. I was really digging the first one for a while, but now the second one looks more attractive to me and most of the people I asked.


I'm still debating on removing or changing the "Owner & IT Technician" text.

I agree with this.

Cards are really good, liking the blue and yellow.

They are both good, but I am learning towards the second one more. Also, on my cards I have Owner/IT Consultant. As ACG said, it might not be "corporate", but I try to sway away from the whole "corporate america" deal.

Well I've made a few changes to both cards, based on some suggestions I received. I changed my title to "Computer Technician" but I might change it to "President" as ACG suggested. That's what I had on my first business card.

Much better. I would go with the top one. I agree with "president" or something like that. The customer can immediately put a name and face with the person in charge.

I really like the top one. The curvy design looks great and the separation of contact info and company info is fantastic. Listing services on the back is a great idea as well.

I'm liking the first one, and here's why:

Your business is "ClickRight". The design of the first one naturally leads the eye to the right side of the card, where your contact information is. This is good, and it reinforces the click right theme. Click, to the Right... get it?

Second, I'm agreement with changing the title position. "Owner/IT Tech" makes it sound too much like you're a one-man band (even if you are). "Owner" or "President" is okay, but it doesn't convey that you are the technically competent one. You might consider "Senior Technician", Senior Field Engineer" or something like that.
