Found this on Reddit. A gent created a website about the basics of networking, especially home, small networks.
There are several of these around, but this looked good in the quick look I gave it.

I would be interested in what others think.

Who ever did it spent a good bit of time and that is always appreciated. Generally speaking it's very well done. But I did notice a couple of things from what I went through.

No mention of MAC addresses in the beginning. That is actually what makes the routing work since IP’s map to MAC’s. And I'm not sure that IP V6 was discussed. Where IP's are gone and it's all about MAC's.

They did not mention how one can use a subnet mask to increase the discoverable IP scope.

Yeah he did a decent job for a "101 class" for home networks and covering the basics.
