[REQUEST] Netgear Extender no internet

Client bought a Netgear Extender. He has about a three year old Netgear router. Got it online once. My cell said it couldn't find an ip address. Reset it two or three times. Showed up on wifi list but no internet to finish setup. It didn't show up as a device using the main wifi when I went went to routerlogin.net. Has anyone run across this?

If it’s an extender just reset and start over.

Or replace with a mesh system. Or setup power line ethernet to an AP.

Those extender are junk. Mesh exists for a reason.
