Need source for iMac display screen

Aloha everyone. I am in need of a replacement screen for a late 2013 27" iMac. My local independent Mac store doesn't seem to be in any hurry to assist me, so I'm thinking about buying one on the web. However, I have no idea who is a good / reliable supplier. Any suggestions? (iFixIt has a listing for it, but is out of stock).

Also, while trying to locate a screen on the web, I see some part numbers mentioned, but I have not seen any part numbers on the existing (broken) screen. Did I just miss this, or should there be a sticker somewhere with the part number?

Mahalo,

That is the unicorn of iMac screens. I have two systems that need the same screen. eBay has them but they go for over $500. The screen that works on that system was only made one year. Good luck.

Mahalo for the response. My research has shown that this screen was used in both late 2012 and late 2013 iMacs. My customer actually had a non-working late 2012 17" iMac and I swapped the screen to the late 2013 and it worked! Got very lucky - saved me a couple hundred bucks on this job.

I found the following sources, they show them as 'available', but you never really know until you place the order:

http://www.powerbookmedic.com/parts/661-7169/Display-Panel-LCD.html $799 for a new screen, less for used and grade B

https://www.dvwarehouse.com/661-7169-Apple-LCD-Display-Panel-for-iMac-27-Late-2012-p-40923.html $495, but it's unclear if that is for a new or refurbished screen.

I'm always hesitant to order anything eBay - part of the reason for asking this question was to see if anyone could recommend a reliable honest supplier.

Try Apple, or Louis Rossmann

Mahalo for taking the time to respond.

I have never found replacement hardware on Apple's website. Tried again, still no luck.

Louis Rossman does not show anything like a screen on their site. And, despite them saying I can chat with them, I could not find a "chat now" button to do so. Maybe I have to register?

I spend $1000s a month on eBay. Haven’t had an issue. Thanks for the links.
