So I responded to an ad on C-list asking for some computer help. The guy needs 8 laptops reformatted with MS office,Adobe Acrobat, anti-virus(with free lifetime updates), and "Diagnostics of the entire system after to check hard drive, CD & DVD ROM, floppy Disk". Not sure what exactly what he meant by the last request, im guessing he wants me to double check everything is running smoothly. He does state that all software and licenses are included and that I will get a certified company check from them. Once I give him my address and phone # he will have a shipping agent drop the laptops to me and pick it up 1 week later. I'm assuming that he will provide the physical copies of the software to me beforehand, and not making me go buy it with my own money first(I'll ask him to make sure; if he does not then i wont do it) What's a fair and reasonable price to charge him? And does this sound legit? I dont want to be scammed or anything. Thanks you guys

Are you for real? this is a classic scam. I had to reread to make sure you were not joking or taking the piss as people put it. You definitely have balls for posting this thinking it could be real.
Not being rude, just saying. Things like this are scams and unless your carefull and use common sense your going to be scammed and ripped off.

GL and welcomeeeee

It might be a classic scam, that doesn't mean a person is ignorant for thinking it might be real. Just saying... Some of these scams are pretty convincing.

exactly he said he was a newbie... you see a job like this and you are starting out you get excited! Hoping that it is real.

There are no stupid questions. the thing i like about TN is a safe place to ask questions we dont have the answers to. Lets not change what is great about our community!

This is not directed at anyone or said with malice. Just want to keep the community great!

Garbage in, garbage out. Look at his intro. He couldn't even be bothered to really give a proper introduction. You should expect to be treated with the same effort and respect you put in to the forums.

I was talking to the tellers at my bank this morning and said. It's really annoying that I spend $2.00 a week for my lotto tickets here in North Carolina and never win a dime. However I don't spend a dime In Nigeria and they tell me I have won millions,at least once a week!!! Who would have thought? lol

Nice blog!

SEO Tip: You might want to change the permalink structure of your posts to %postname% instead of the ?p=## format. Search engines like it better.

Check my blog for an example:

Excellent tip. Now are you gonna tell me how it's done or do I have to read the Wordpress manual. Either way thank you very much Senior!

Any other SEO tip is appreciated from someone who is position #11 at Google.
