Need Opinions/Critiques on Billboard Designs

Regarding the "apple" pictures you are using - is it fine to use those on advertisements / flyers ?

How about if you included the apple logo - would that be fine also?

Or would there be any sort of copyright being breached?

Sorry about taking it slightly off topic ..

Cheers.

I read over their copy right terms and I think their main concer is people using the apple logo, especially if they are misrepresenting the company. You can request special copy right licensing privileges that will get you some more leeway though.

Thanks. I guess that would be the same if you included the apple logo on the front of the iMac picture also - they will not necessarily like that?

Will look into it.

Cheers.

Which billboard did you decide on? I like the 1st and the 2nd, the 3rd doesn't have much imagery to catch the eye. I like how the 1st spells out exactly where you're at, lots of people are clueless at directions. Don't like the Apple products on the 1st though. Think you would be better off showing a broken Apple computer and a PC on the ad, instead of giving the impression that you only service Apple computers.

Jumping back in time to say I like #2. #1 just looks too much like they took some "responsive theme" clipart and jammed it in, and it's way too busy. If I just glanced at it, I'd swear it was an ad for some responsive theme in green and black. #2 gets the info across. What actual images did you use in the commercial? I don't know anyone who has gone this route, and I'm very interested in the success rate for local services.

Hi all, I'm new here but thought I would take part in a couple of posts to get started.
I personally prefer the second one. It's clear and simple and straight to the point. Exactly what is needed for a road side billboard. I like the first as well but thought that having the three screens had a little too much going on. Having the one device that you have on the seconded example allows to make the headings bigger allowing it to be read from further, and easier.

So, as you all know we did not go with a billboard, but a movie theater commercial instead. Well it's been running for a few months now and we have gotten some business as a direct result from the commercial, but we are unable to confirm anything more than that. However, I can tell you that the last 4 months have been all record breaking months and when I say record breaking, I mean that our business has increased by 25-30% more than our average months. That does not mean that the commercial is the reason, but I do believe that it is helping to build our brand and name. Anyways, I told you guys I would post it when it was complete, so here it is.

I just got done running a billboard campaign 3 billboard and 90 days. Not a single customer mentioned them when asking how they found out. It only cost $500 per billboard but generated no business and our shop has been getting so much slower. Idk if the sa,e results would be everywhere, but for us the billboards were a fail.

My Billboard was a fail too. I did get a call from the largest clinic in that town though before I yanked it down, they wanted backup onsite support for 16 clinics. Didn't win it because they pulled the budget. Maybe would have been a good win though.
