Need help with OpenOffice editable pdf job card

Hello,
I created an editable pdf document with Open Office a little while ago, which is used as a job card for our business. It works well enough, it has drop down boxes to select items, tickable check boxes and editable fields to enter name, details etc.

It also has an area to write in an itemised costing and description. I'd love to get the pdf to add up all these costs and display the final amount. It's the one thing that it doesn't do, and it bugs me!

I've had a solid search of the open office forums and found a couple similar posts of people trying to do this, which are unanswered. If we can get something sorted here out I'd be happy to upload this jobcard for the forum to use. Any ideas?

I'm working on a similar project.
Let's you create PDFs with their own javascript. I just got it a little while ago and am no javascripter but, from what I'm reading, it should be do-able.
