Hope th00is is the right spot for this if not I apologize. I have been out of the business for a while and when I had to close my old business I sold off pretty mm
Anyways I'm expanding from PC and mac repairs custom built computers to game console, tablet, mobile phone repairs, Chromebook repair.

I was wondering what additional tools do I need besides a decent bit set with opening tools. I was thinking about that isclack tool as well as the rounded pizza wheel tool, some 2 and 3mm adhesive tape a soldering station to be able to put flux on I already have a blue silicone mat but f sedn them using e heated up version that they used to heat up a tablet to break the adhesive

If anyone has anything they think would also help me or has any suggestions I would appreciate it.

P.s. I'm still looking for any branded posters, banner signs flags like saying Apple windows, Nvidia giga etc lmk

?

tablet, mobile phone repairs,

Good eyesight, very good manual dexterity and a healthy dose of luck? Seriously, I give props to folks that can do phones - everything is tiny, cables are glued down and extremely fragile, screens are expensive. I'm guessing if you're any good, you won't have any trouble finding business. Other than a couple of "U Break I Fix" franchises near me, no one is doing them.

It is more the immediacy factor as ppl want it done yesterday that shies me away from that.

@Steves_Computer_Repair_PA

A decent microsoldering station with scope and thermal testing cam would be a must.
Regarding tools etc, the kits from ifixit for the the tools pretty much cover what one requires though overpriced.

As for the advertising posters do companies still supply these to business? It is a long time since I have made that approach.

You are now a niche business, I would def work on the marketing. Hardware can't sell itself. Happy to send you an old book I wrote about starting a computer repair biz. Most of it doesn't include hardware start up lol, but has good marketing tips I use to this day.
