Neat 5 Software Issues

Just a warning to those with clients running "Neat" branded scanners. Version 5 of the Neat software (also called NeatWorks I think) just came out not too long ago. However, from what I've seen, it still has many bugs to be worked out. I've had a couple of clients already encountering issues with it. Check out their forum if you want further proof:

In short, I would advise your customers to stay with version 4 for a while, until Neat 5 stabilizes a bit more. If they're dead set on upgrading, make sure they create a full backup beforehand of their database. There are incompatibility issues with the database files between ver 5 and 4.

Slightly off-subject....but I have been thinking of getting my wife one of those Neat scanners to help her with her real estate stuff. Overall....how good have you found the product to be? (if not personally, at least based off of feedback from clients)
