Listen up if you're interested in hearing my marketing stories, Rick and a bit about Technibble (of course we give props to the nib!)

Rick and I did the interview last spring and he's finally got it out. It's very nice, I enjoyed it and am pretty impressed with it. I have never done a podcast before. It's in a 2 part series, I guess I had too much to blab about for one podcast.

:p

Part 2 is coming up, Rick is working on it. My ebook comes out this month (hopefully in 2 weeks or so??) and then I will do a live stream too with them. I'm fairly excited to get this dang book already. Took me 6 months and 4 revisions to get it done! ARGH!!!

Thanks for the comments, Rick is awesome!

the only thing I don't like about the Force Field is I need to fast forward 15 minutes to get to the actual content.

The way he talks and the way the rest of the podcast is outside of the interview is so damn scripted and staged that I can't listen to it, but I love the content and your podcast. Just waiting for part 2.

Thanks for the feedback. There is a reason the the first part of the show is structured the way it is. I do script a large part of the first segment intentionally and it is delivered formally in somewhat of an audiobook format so the content can be utilized in other venues after the initial podcast, including an audio book.

When I first began doing the show I had plans to repackage the content for other things. The formal delivery is needed for consistency when integrating it in other media.

This is also why the segment times are posted as they are. Some of the listeners have been confused with the segment times and have asked why I post the start times of each segment of the show instead of the length of each segment.

The reason I do that is so you can skip segments you don't want to hear and go straight to the beginning of the segments you are interested in. In other words, the notes are not there to record segment length, but serve as a tool to cross-reference and quickly locate specific archived content.

The term "archived" is a clue as to what my long term goals are for the show.

I know my method of delivery for this show may not be for everyone. Some folks seem to like it, others don't. I don't take it personally, so no worries. I just wanted you to know why it is.

Part 2 of Lisa's interview was posted this morning. There is a link to it in my sig.

Thanks again for the feedback, MrUnknown. It IS helpful and I do appreciate it.

I thank you for not taking it personal, it definitely wasn't any sort of attack on your podcast or insult to your content (as I love the content) but that structured stuff isn't for me. I am not in the podcast or media world, so I honestly have no idea what you are talking about packaging it and such, but thanks for explaining your intentions. I didn't think there was a real point to it except for trying to sound very professional, which, as I have said, doesn't really agree with me.

Pretty much all the other podcasts I listen to have a "lets just wing it" type of approach which I prefer as, to me, it feels more engaging.

I also thank you for responding and again, thanks for not taking it the wrong way. Your podcast is one that I have subscribed to the longest.
