I just created this menu for my flash drive so that I can launch my apps easier and it looks more professional.

That's nice, just don't forget and leave the cd in the drive or the customer'll fix their own pc! I too have a disk which I made a menu for using 'nu2menu'.

Good work thanks for the app will help a lot and save a lot of time working on customers pc's :D

Anyone here use portable apps from portableapps.com? You can for the most part use your own stuff with it to...

Yeah I use portable apps (plus any other gadget that looks appealing). My life is a bit easier because I am workshop based so I don't really need to 'condense' my lifesaving apps for travelling purposes, but it's a whole heap easier to chuck the must have apps onto a key for a repair.

the only thing I would say about portableapps is that they are good for day to day apps (virus removal, secure delete, etc) but if you need to run real 'tech' repair tools then they can be a bit lacking.

Sorry, I forgot about Fab's Auto Backup! I included my paid version  I will be removing the link because of this.

I run a ton of apps on my USB drive, have like 6 copies of it usually plus about 4 other keys with various things like bootable usb linux distros, etc.

I use CodySafe for a menu system. I also use wsusoffline for updates since here at work we have a slow (1mbit on average) connection and regardless of how much I complain they won't go the the competition 15mbit service that costs about the same (corp politics or something). Downloading windows updates dozens of times a day without it sucks.

I'll post a better list some other time, prob when I have done enough posts to link to everything.
