MS Update 3033929 Causing Reboot Loop

I do not see that in my setup of win7 pro 64bit. Perhaps MS pulled the update already. I have just completed some new installs this last weekend and have them all updated. No problems. MS must have pulled that update pretty darn quick. ?

Whats really bad is that there is no cure for it yet according to the article. So, A restore is probably in order for those that have this issue? ---- Just read comments on that site you linked and people are saying that restore does not work. Might have to do a "Upgrade" from a Win dvd and reinstall all updates again - skipping that one of course.

Are you talking about a repair install of Windows 7, booting from the Dvd?
If you know a way to do an upgrade / repair without first running the setup from within Windows then I'm very interested.
Always thought it to be a step backwards when they did away with the repair install feature of XP...

On my personal machine at work lan icon shows no internet connection yet i can access the web tried repairing, reset and new drivers in control panel it show i have internet connection looks like they broke the icon status.

Got one in today. Lenovo Thinkcentre Edge 72 running windows 7. Complaint was windows update ran and then rebooted, system reverted out of the patch, rebooted again and then settled ok but then no internet access. Driver for the realtek lan was showing all bangs (its more than one driver, its like those 6to4, pposomething, etc,) but when you try to uninstall them they act like they uninstall but really do nothing. Code for the yellow bangs is a 31 "could not load driver because files are missing". I ran an assortment of virus checks, sfc, D7 net related fixes, still nothing. Reinstalled the relatek driver and that came back to life but still see bangs for other related files. See image:

So we got internet now, did a bunch of D7 cleanups, more virus clean work, etc. Still working on the machine but so far cannot tell if there is more to this than just the KB3033929 because customer claims he lost internet after this patch was applied.
Tried to reinstall patch and it failed and reverted back, however this time we did not lose internet, drivers still appear as above in photo.

Will post more later as I find something.
